Overview
Throughout his life, Edward Bloom (Ewan McGregor) has always been a man of big appetites, enormous passions and tall tales. In his later years, portrayed by five-time Best Actor Oscar® nominee Albert Finney (Best Actor in a Supporting Role, Erin Brockovich, 2000), he remains a huge mystery to his son, William (Billy Crudup). Now, to get to know the real man, Will begins piecing together a true picture of his father from flashbacks of his amazing adventures in this marvel of a movie.

Easter Eggs
On the DVD’s Main Menu highlight the menu entry 'Special Features.' Now press the 'Up' arrow key on your remote control twice to highlight a star inside the top hat at the top of the screen. Press the 'Enter' key and you will be treated to some special footage of director Tim Burton driving a fire-works spitting golf card down the Spectre Main Street. Presumably this is footage from when the crew celebrated the wrap of the film.

Actor comeback:

When Edward Bloom comes to "Spectre" he walks up the road in the city and the camera shows a old man playing "Duelling banjos" on his banjo. This is actually the same actor that played the "banjoboy" in "Deliverance", Billy Redden. This is meant as a tribute from Tim Burton who never could forget this boy and wanted to bring him back on the screen.
