Just as Jack learns that Stephen Saunders, a British agent once under his command, is behind the virus attack, the President receives a call from Saunders with a rather strange demand.

Chase and a strike team try to locate Saunders before Jack is forced to comply with another of Saunders' demands: killing CTU operative Ryan Chappelle.
